Astana. March 22. Kazakhstan Today - 2 - 3 magnitude earthquake hit Taraz, the press service of the Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan informs.

According to the department, "there was an earthquake on March, 21 at 15.50 in territory of Kazakhstan. The earthquake's epicenter was in 888 km southwest from Almaty in the territory of Afghanistan, Hindu Kush Ridge.

"Tremors were felt in the cities of Taraz - 2-3 and in Shymkent - 2 magnitude. There have been no reports of casualties, the Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan informs.
