An earthquake was recorded in Kazakhstan's Zhetysu Region, with its epicenter located 34 kilometers southeast of the city of Tekeli, a correspondent reports.

The earthquake occurred at 10:56 a.m. local time. According to the Kazakhstan National Data Center, the epicenter was situated 34 kilometers southeast of Tekeli.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8.
