Wind blows shack onto man in Turkey
Almaty. April 15. Kazakhstan Today - A man in Turkey is lucky to be alive after a powerful gust of wind rolled a shack over him on Thursday, The Telegraph reported.
The unidentified man was walking along a pavement past the galvanised shed in the south-western town of Bursa, when the structure became detached from the ground and was blown towards him.
The shack, which weighed around a tonne, knocked the man over, before hitting power cables and smashing into a moving van.
Emergency services closed the road for several hours to remove the wreckage.
The injured man was taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries has not been reported.
