18 agreements on formation of Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan to be signed

Almaty. December 5. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of Committee of Customs Control of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, Kozy-Korpesh Karbuzov informed today during the thirty fifth session of the Council of Customs Services at EurAsEC Integration Committee that 18 agreements on formation of the Unified Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will be signed in the near future, the agency reports.

"Today we are forming the normative-legal base of the Customs Union. The Prime Ministers of our Republics on December, 12th will sign 18 agreements on formation and creation of the Customs Union. By 2010 we will unify all the questions, concerning customs, the Ministries of Agriculture, Health, Transport and other ministries, and our tariff regulation," K. Karbuzov informed.

"The main objective of the work of the council is realization of assignments of the leaders of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan on creating the unified customs union. The decisions accepted today are the links for realization of our final objective," Vladimir Malinin, the first vice chairman of Federal Customs Service of Russia, said.

The chairmen of customs services considered at the session of the council the course of realization by customs services of the EurAsEC member states the decisions accepted at the council sessions of chairmen of customs services and the work on development of the Customs Code of the Customs Union and formation of the legal base of the Customs Union.
