Accumulative Pension Fund to have two shareholders: National Bank and EBRD

JSC Accumulative Pension Fund (GNPF) will have two shareholders. The head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, informed during the press conference in Almaty on Wednesday, the agency reports.

Almaty. June 11. Kazakhstan Today - JSC Accumulative Pension Fund (GNPF) will have two shareholders. The head of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, informed during the press conference in Almaty on Wednesday, the agency reports.

"Now the government is transferring the package to the National Bank, that is GNPF will have two shareholders: the National Bank and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development," G. Marchenko infomed.

He explained, "Until recently the structure was as such: 9.99 % of shares belonged to the EBRD, 20.74 % - to the government and 69.27 % - to the National Bank."

JSC GNPF was founded on September 24th, 1997. The fund has a wide regional network all over Kazakhstan, consisting of 28 regional divisions.
