Almaty. January 22. Kazakhstan Today - The majority of experts (76.6 %) forecast the third wave of crisis in 2010. 43.3 % specify it will happen in the first half of the year 2010 and 33.3 % - in the second half of 2010, the agency reports citing the review Estimation of Probability of the Third Wave of Crisis prepared by the Institute of Political Studies.

"The economists and some representatives of business disagree with the estimations concerning sources of crisis, stages, processes, and the consequences. In August, 2007, Kazakhstan has faced bank liquidity crisis - the first wave of the global crisis.

The second wave was characterized by the crisis beyond the financial industry. A number of economists expect the third wave. At the same time, there is an opinion that there are no waves of crisis, but this is just some characteristics of the economic condition."

Analyzing the modern economic situation in Kazakhstan, more than half (56.7 %) of experts consider that the economy endures crisis. The results of the research have shown high level of possibility of deterioration of the economic situation - 66.6 % of respondents.
