IEA specified critical oil price level for world economy in 2009 - 2010

International Energy Agency (IEA) has specified a critical oil price level for the world economy of $70 per barrel in 2009 - 2010, the agency reports citing an information-analytical portal Neft Rossii.

Almaty. August 7. Kazakhstan Today - International Energy Agency (IEA) has specified a critical oil price level for the world economy of $70 per barrel in 2009 - 2010, the agency reports citing an information-analytical portal Neft Rossii.

"International Energy Agency (IEA) named critical for the world economy oil price at the level of $70 per barrel in 2009 - 2010. If it exceeds $70, restoration after the crisis will slow down or will stop at all," IEA chief economist, Fatih Birol, said.
