Turkmenistan renewed gas deliveries to Russia

Turkmenistan has renewed gas deliveries to Russia, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Almaty. January 10. Kazakhstan Today - Turkmenistan has renewed gas deliveries to Russia, the agency reports citing RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to Open Society Gazprom, "Gazprom began receiving Turkmen gas on Saturday at 10.35 Moscow time."

During the visit of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, on December 22, 2009 in Ashkhabad, the officials signed the changes and additions to the long-term contract of purchase and sale of gas. According to the document, Russia renews purchases and deliveries of Turkmen gas from January 1, 2010 in the volume of 30 billion cubic meters of gas annually. "The price formula, according to the reached arrangements, will completely correspond to the conditions of the European gas market," Gazprom informs.
