Volume of investments in Kazakhstan decreased

Volume of investments into fixed capital has decreased in Kazakhstan, following the results of nine months of 2010. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aytzhanova, informed at a government session, the agency reports.

Astana. October 13. Kazakhstan Today - Volume of investments into fixed capital has decreased in Kazakhstan, following the results of nine months of 2010. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan, Zhanar Aytzhanova, informed at a government session, the agency reports.

"Investments into fixed capital have decreased within the accounting period. In January - September of 2010, their volume has reached 3.126 billion KZT, having decreased by 2 % in comparison with the similar period of 2009. The reason of the decrease is the reduction of foreign investments and debt fund investments."

"Investment activities in Kazakhstan are supported due to growth of investments in equity funds of the enterprises and the funds of the state budget, which shares have increased from 32.9 % and 17.1 % up to 46 % and 20.7 % accordingly.
