The south of Kyrgyzstan struck an earthquake on Sunday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan.

Almaty. August 26. Kazakhstan Today - The south of Kyrgyzstan struck an earthquake on Sunday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Emergency Ministry of Kazakhstan.

According to Institute of Seismology of National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit on August, 24 at 16.04, local time.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the mountains Taldyk, in 55 kilometers to the southeast from the city of Osh.

According to the press service, the earthquake was registered in the city of Osh - 4 magnitude. According to preliminary data, there are no victims and destructions.
