Two citizens of Kyrgyzstan killed and Kazakhstan frontier guard injured at Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border

Vice Director of the Frontier Service of Committee of National Security of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Abylkanov, informed during a briefing today that two citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been killed and a frontier guard have been injured at the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border, the agency reports.

Astana. July 14. Kazakhstan Today - Vice Director of the Frontier Service of Committee of National Security of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Abylkanov, informed during a briefing today that two citizens of Kyrgyzstan have been killed and a frontier guard have been injured at the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border, the agency reports.

"A group of frontier trespassers were detained on July 13 between 16.00 - 17.00 at the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyz border by the frontier squad," A. Abylkanov informed.

He informed, "In an attempt to stop and check their documents, trespassers showed armed resistance and were the first who attacked a frontier squad. One of the frontier guards has been wounded." The frontier squad had to use weapons. During the collision, two infringers were killed and one of them has been detained.

"The critically wounded frontier guard's condition is now stable heavy," A. Abylkanov informed.
