BSEC Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss results of work of organization for six-month period in Ankara

The 17th session of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) member states took place in Ankara on Thursday, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan informed the agency.

Kazakhstan Today - The 17th session of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) member states took place in Ankara on Thursday, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan informed the agency.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahmud Mamedguliyev represents the Azerbaijan party at the session.

The participants of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers will consider the results of the work of BSEC for the six-month period, which passed under the presidency of Turkey and will discuss possibilities of improving the effectiveness of the work of the structures of the organization.

Turkey presided in BSEC since May 1. At the present session the presidency in the Organization since November for the next six months will be transferred to the Ukraine.

BSEC was founded in 1992, its structure includes 12 countries: Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Armenia, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and the Ukraine.
