India will provide Kazakhstan technologies for construction of nuclear reactors of small capacity with low-enriched uranium. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, Ashok Sadzhanhar, informed at the meeting with journalists, the agency reports.

Astana. April 29. Kazakhstan Today - India will provide Kazakhstan technologies for construction of nuclear reactors of small capacity with low-enriched uranium. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan, Ashok Sadzhanhar, informed at the meeting with journalists, the agency reports.

"We also came to a decision to sign the intergovernmental agreement on nuclear energy use for peaceful purposes in addition to the memorandum of mutual understanding signed in India on delivery of uranium from Kazakhstan to India. I am glad to inform that this agreement will be ready within several weeks or even days," A. Sadzhanhar informed.

He also said that after signing the agreement, India "will have new opportunities for investments into development of uranium deposits in Kazakhstan."
