Iran is ready to export and transit of grain from Kazakhstan. The Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Mirkazemi, informed today during the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbaev, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

Astana. April 8. Kazakhstan Today - Iran is ready to export and transit of grain from Kazakhstan. The Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Mirkazemi, informed today during the meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Akylbek Kurishbaev, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

According to the press service, during the meeting A. Kurishbaev said that "if construction of the grain terminal in Amirabad port finishes this year, Kazakhstan will have an opportunity for export of grain to Iran and transit through Iran to the Arabian countries."

Masoud Mirkazemi emphasized that during crisis we need to develop the Kazakhstan-Iranian trade and economic relations. "Masoud Mirkazemi expressed readiness of Iran in export and transit of Kazakhstan grain and in participation in investment projects of Kazakhstan," the press service informs.
