Kazakhstan interested in expansion of cooperation with Saudi Arabia - Masimov

Kazakhstan is interested in expansion of cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

Astana. March 21. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is interested in expansion of cooperation with Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov said at the meeting with the chairman of the Board of Directors of Holding Company Kingdom the Prince Al-Walid Ben Talal Al Saud.

"Kazakhstan attaches great value to development of the relations with Saudi Arabia - one of the authoritative states of the Arabian world. We are interested in expansion of cooperation," K. Masimov said. The Prime Minister noted available potential in development of mutual relations in oil-and-gas branch, financial sphere, agriculture, transport-communication complex, development of infrastructure and tourist activity.

The Prince Al-Walid Ben Talal Al Saud expressed readiness to participate in realization of the strategically important projects in Kazakhstan.

"For definition of projects, in realization of which the Holding Company Kingdom can take part, and also for development of the objective conclusion considering the interests of both parties, it has been decided to involve company McKenzie, being world leader of consulting services. The parties have agreed on close cooperation and activization of the available potential for further successful development of the relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom Saudi Arabia.

The Holding Company Kingdom was founded in 1980 and is one of the largest world investment companies, operating with world known firms and brands, including Apple Computers, Time Warner, Samba, Motorola, News Corporation Ltd., Ballast Number, Canary Warf, Samba Financial Group, Kingdom Center, Pepsi, Walt Disney, Four Seasons, Movenpick, and Fairmont.
