Morgan Stanley Bank representative Jonathan Powell is expected in Astana
Astana. July 22. Kazakhstan Today - Director of Investment Banking Department of Morgan Stanley Bank and ex-chief of staff and office of the ex-Prime Minister of Great Britain, Toni Blair, Jonathan Powell is expected to visit Astana. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ilyas Omarov, informed during Monday's weekly briefing in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the agency reports.
"The purpose of the visit - discussion of the results of the visit of T. Blair to Astana in June, 2008 and exchange of opinions concerning development of the Central Asian region during the planned meetings with the management of some of the ministries and departments of Kazakhstan," I. Omarov noted.
The visit will last from July 23 till July 25, 2008.
