OSCE Commissioner for National Minorities to visit Kazakhstan

OSCE Commissioner for National Minorities, Knut Volebek, will visit Kazakhstan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today during weekly briefing, the agency reports.

Astana. May 25. Kazakhstan Today - OSCE Commissioner for National Minorities, Knut Volebek, will visit Kazakhstan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today during weekly briefing, the agency reports.

"OSCE Commissioner for National Minorities, Knut Volebek, will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan on May 26-27th where he will hold a number of bilateral meetings with the official representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan," Y. Ashikbayev said.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "during the planned negotiations the officials will discuss various aspects of preparation of Kazakhstan for presidency in OSCE, the questions of language policy and formation, and cooperation of the organization with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan."

According to Y. Ashikbayev, during the visit K. Volebek will take part in the seminar 'Legislative Maintenance of Social Integration into the Multinational Society' organized by the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan.
