Astana. May 10. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived with the official visit in Astana, the agency reports.
At the capital airport the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov met the Russian President.
The Russian leader will stay in Astana on Thursday and then will make a working trip to Turkmenistan and will arrive in Aktau. "During the official visit to Kazakhstan the Russian leader will visit Astana on May 9-10, and Aktay on May 12-15. In Turkmenistan on May 10-12 the President will visit the cities Ashkhabad and Turkmenbashi where the Presidents will hold tripartite Russian-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan meeting at the high level," the Kremlin press service informed.
At the meeting with the Kazakhstan leader Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana the prospects of further cooperation of two countries on all spectrum of bilateral cooperation will be discussed, the Kazakhstan MFA official representative Yerzhan Ashikbayev informed.
