Amendments signed by President to Law on Internet not to influence OSCE presidency

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed by the President of Kazakhstan on Amendments and Additions to the Acts of Kazakhstan on Information-Communication Networks will not influence the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed on Monday, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed by the President of Kazakhstan on Amendments and Additions to the Acts of Kazakhstan on Information-Communication Networks will not influence the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed on Monday, the agency reports.

"The law will not have a direct influence on the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in OSCE," Y. Ashikbayev said.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will undertake all the necessary measures to explain our OSCE partners the current situation, which caused accepting this law," the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
