Kazakhstan to pass on to integrated customs control

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, today at the conference Ways of Improvement of Kazakhstan's Parameters in World Bank Doing Business Rating said that Kazakhstan will pass on to the integrated customs control since next year, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, today at the conference Ways of Improvement of Kazakhstan's Parameters in World Bank Doing Business Rating said that Kazakhstan will pass on to the integrated customs control since next year, the agency reports.

"Kazakhstan will pass on to the integrated customs control since the next year, which will provide decrease in administrative barriers to the participants of foreign trade," K. Masimov said.

"We have started development of the new Customs Code, which assumes simplification of customs procedures," the Prime Minister informed.

"We plan to build a new permit system taking into account the advanced international experience. We will define the optimum list of licensed activities, will eliminate duplicating procedures, and introduce the effective mechanisms of self-regulation of business stage by stage," K. Masimov explained.

"The package of proposals on ordering and optimization of audits of the subjects of private business is being prepared," the Prime Minister informed.
