New Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Abutalip Ahmetov presented copies of credentials to Hamrohon Zarifi

The new Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan, Abutalip Ahmetov, presented copies of credentials to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Hamrohon Zarifi on Tuesday, the agency reports referring to Information Agency Asia Plus.

Almaty. July 2. Kazakhstan Today - The new Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan, Abutalip Ahmetov, presented copies of credentials to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Hamrohon Zarifi on Tuesday, the agency reports referring to Information Agency Asia Plus.

According to Asia Plus, during the meeting the parties have assessed condition of mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries in political, trade and economic, humanitarian and other spheres.

The parties also discussed the questions of the forthcoming sessions of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Affairs and the Council of leaders of SCO member states and other questions of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

As it was informed earlier, in May of 2008 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abutalip Ahmetov was appointed Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan. Yerlan Abidayev who earlier held this post has been appointed Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada.
