Vice Prime Minister familiarized with course of construction of high speed highway Astana - Schuchinsk

Vice Prime Minister, Umirzak Shukeev, and Minister of Transport and Communications, Serik Ahmetov, made a working trip to high-speed highway Astana - Schuchinsk last Saturday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

Astana. September 9. Kazakhstan Today - Vice Prime Minister, Umirzak Shukeev, and Minister of Transport and Communications, Serik Ahmetov, made a working trip to high-speed highway Astana - Schuchinsk last Saturday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

According to the press service, "during the trip the officials visited the sites of the new road and held working meeting under U. Shukeev's presidency on the results of three-year work of construction of the first auto ban in Kazakhstan."

"47.5 million KZT has been spent from the beginning in 2006 on reconstruction of the motorway Astana - Schuchinsk.

"1400 units of technology and more than 3.5 thousand people including 500 foreign experts have been involved in realization of the project."

As a whole, the realization of the project is planned to be completed in 2009.
