Criminal HIV infection court procedure to hold public

Astana. February 1. Kazakhstan Today - The criminal court procedure on mass HIV infection of South Kazakhstan children will be held public. The Chairman of Al-Farabi court Ziyadinkhan Pirniyaz said today at the press conference, the agency reports.

"At today's morning session the court made the decision to hold the sessions public. The journalists are obliged to be accredited," Z. Pirniyaz said.

At the press conference the judge discussed the logistics of the work with journalists and warned about the responsibility for publication of surnames of the victims or the publication of their photos in press without consent.

As it was informed earlier, court procedure on the criminal case of intra hospital HIV infection of the South Kazakhstan children is being conducted in private, by the decision of the Chairman, in Al-Farabi regional court of Shymkent. 21 accused on the case of HIV infection had been arrested.
