Three days will be enough to register marriage in Kazakhstan, Kazakh Information and Communication Minister Dauren Abayev says.
A draft law bringing over 500 amendments to 43 Acts and 10 Codes has been drafted to improve the legislative framework. Its amendments aim to optimizing 121 public services under the recommendations of the inter-ministerial commission," said Kazakh Information and Communications Minister Dauren Abayev.
As an example, the Minister referred to the optimization of a marriage registration service.
Optimizing a marriage registration service will reduce the registration period from 1 month to three working days, and people will be able to choose the marriage registration date within 2 months from the day of the application," said Abayev.
Additionally, the new draft law enables an automated return of excessive amounts of taxpayers’ money and to regulate the order of providing public services by a single normative act.
We will seek to nullify over 3.5 thousand standards and regulations total. In addition, the amendments offer to introduce the notion "pilot project", enabling to test processes, spot risks, correct the stages of its provision while improving any service," said the Minister, outlining a reduction in the optimization period of public services.
