More than 1000 Kazakhstan citizens returned home from China

Astana. July 9. Kazakhstan Today - More than 1000 Kazakhstan citizens returned home over the last two days from Sintszyan-Uigur autonomy province of the Peoples Republics of China. The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed today in the interview to journalists, the agency reports.

"More than 1000 people returned home over the last two days: 860 people returned yesterday and 120 people returned by buses today," Y. Ashikbayev said, having added that some citizens returned from China to Kazakhstan by air way.

"Today, the situation in China, as a whole, is stable than it was earlier. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is keeping in touch with passport and visa service in Urumchi. Kazakhstan Consul in Beijing arrived to aid Kazakhstan citizens," Y. Ashikbayev informed.

"Despite the situation in China, some citizens have refused to come back to Kazakhstan that shows normalization of the situation," he informed.
