Almaty. October 12. Kazakhstan Today - The head of the National company Kazkosmos has been replaced, National company office informed the agency.
"New chairman of Kazkosmos became Azamat Batyrgazhin. Serik Turzhanov had the post earlier.
A. Batyrgazhin was Vice President of Space committee of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Kazkosmos with absolute participation of the state in its authorized capital was created in March, 2005 within the realization of the state program Development of Space Activity in Kazakhstan for 2005 - 2007. The main goals of the company - participation in development and realization of current, long-term inter branch programs in the sphere of space activity of the Republic, creation of highly effective information and space-economic problems and securing of national safety in Kazakhstan.
