Preparation for launching Progress M-56 comes to end

Baikonur. April 20. Kazakhstan Today - Preparation for launching Progress M-56 transport vehicle at cosmodrome Baikonur comes to end, the press service of the space center reports.

Session of state commission to draw the conclusion on readiness of spacecraft for start will take place on April 21.

Progress M-56 should deliver fuel, food, water, scientific equipment and spent materials to the International Space Station (ISS).

Souyz-U spacecraft will be moved to starting complex of platform №1 on April 22.

Souyz-U spacecraft launch with Progress M-56 is set for April, 24. It will be the third launch from the cosmodrome Baikonur in 2006.
