Rocket carrier Proton-M with space satellite Inmarsat 4F3 launch scheduled for August 19

Launch of the rocket carrier Proton-M with the space vehicle Inmarsat 4F3 has been scheduled for August 19, the agency reports referring to a source at the cosmodrome.

Baikonur. August 7. Kazakhstan Today - Launch of the rocket carrier Proton-M with the space vehicle Inmarsat 4F3 has been scheduled for August 19, the agency reports referring to a source at the cosmodrome.

As it was informed earlier, launch of the rocket carrier Proton-M planned for August 14 with telecommunication satellite Inmarsat 4F3 has been postponed until August 5 due to a defect in the computing system of the booster block Breeze-M.

According to the source, the experts of the cosmodrome have replaced the defective computing system on the booster block Breeze-M and began works on assembly of space head part of the rocket carrier Proton-M.

After completion of operations on assembly the works according to the changed schedule of pre-starting preparation of the rocket carrier Proton-M with the space vehicle Inmarsat 4F3 will begin.
