Almaty. February 17. Kazakhstan Today - Belarus has requested $2 bln from EurAsEC anti-crisis fund. Vice prime minister of Belarus Sergey Rumas informed on February 16, Kazakhstan Today reports.

The government of Belarus is asking the EurAsEC for a loan of up to $2 billion from its anti-crisis fund, Deputy Premier Sergei Rumas told the press in Minsk on Wednesday, Interfax reported.

"The government is considering the possibility of borrowing up to $2 billion from the EurAsEC anti-crisis fund," Rumas said.

Meanwhile, Belarusian Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets said that a corresponding application was submitted and that the quota of Belarus amounts to about $1.7 billion.
