Caspian Sea Corporation to begin realization of 10 investment projects in 2008

The National Company social enterprise corporation Caspian Sea plans to realize 10 investment projects in 2008 on the territories of Mangistau and Atyrau oblasts. The chairman of the Corporation Caspian Sea Bolat Palymbetov informed at the presentation of the projectson Wednesday, the agency reports.

Aktau. April 11. Kazakhstan Today - The National Company social enterprise corporation Caspian Sea plans to realize 10 investment projects in 2008 on the territories of Mangistau and Atyrau oblasts. The chairman of the Corporation Caspian Sea Bolat Palymbetov informed at the presentation of the projectson Wednesday, the agency reports.

The social enterprise corporation portfolio has 70 applications, 36 out of them will be realized in manufacturing industry, 15 - in infrastructure development, 11 - in services, 7 - in mining industry and one project - in manufacture of electric power. Ten projects have already been discussed and approved at the council meeting of the corporation directors on March, 26, 2008.

The Vice President of the Corporation Adilbek Kusherov informed that five projects for the total cost of more than 6.6 billion KZT are planned to realize in Mangistau oblast, among them are construction of the base of technical support for dredging fleet, flour-grinding factory, and factory for manufacture of biological products, organization of independent inspection of goods exported from Kazakhstan creation of the industrial park for small and medium businesses.

Five projects are planned to be realized on the territory of Atyrau oblast in 2008, among which are construction of factory for manufacture of gypsum cardboard, commodity-sturgeon farm, creation of the national center of storage of sulfur, construction of the factory producing food and technical salt and Atyrau cement factory.
