Almaty. August 22. Kazakhstan Today - Falling of the prices for ferrotitanium proceeds in the European market of ferroalloys. According to Metal Bulletin, they have decreased from $8.9 - 9.3 (on July 9) up to $8.2 - 8.4 for one kg of 70 percent of ferrotitanium, in recalculation for titan (on August 16). Some consumers bought this ferroalloy even by lower price. As it was informed earlier, in January of 2007, ferrotitanium cost $14.8 - 15.3 for one kg. The prices for titanic sponge have remained at the level of $ 22.5 for one kg.
