June total international reserves decreased by 6.53 %

Total international reserves, as of July, 1st, have decreased by 6.53 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 6.42 %) and have been $18 597 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Almaty. July 7. Kazakhstan Today - Total international reserves, as of July, 1st, have decreased by 6.53 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 6.42 %) and have been $18 597 million, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

For the accounting period, the assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan have grown by 2.22 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 13.98 %) and have been $23 642 million.

Assets in hard currency, as of June, have decreased by 7.07 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 8.29 %) and have been $16 391 million, in gold - have decreased by 2.35 % up to $2206 million.

Net international reserves in June have decreased by 6.38 % (from the beginning of the year, they decreased by 6.61 %) and have been $18 533 million.

According to the National Bank, the monetary base, as of July 1st, 2009, has been 2333.8 billion KZT.
