Living wage in August was 18,041 tenge

According to the Statistics Agency, the share of the cost of meat and fish in the living wage occupied 21.7%, dairy, oil and fat products and eggs - 14.4%, fruit and vegetables - 14.8%, bread and cereals - 7 %, sugar, tea and spices - 2.1%.

Astana. September 3. Kazakhstan Today - Living wage on average per capita, based on the minimum standards of consumption of basic food products, in August 2012 compared to the previous month increased by 6.3%, compared to August 2011 - by 4.1% and reached 18 041 tenge, Kazakhstan Today reports.

According to the Statistics Agency, the share of the cost of meat and fish in the living wage occupied 21.7%, dairy, oil and fat products and eggs - 14.4%, fruit and vegetables - 14.8%, bread and cereals - 7 %, sugar, tea and spices - 2.1%.

The share of food products was 10,825 tenge, consumer goods and paid services - 7216 tenge.

According to the statistics, in August, the living wage for children under 13 years old was 15,815 tenge; for boys and girls aged 14 - 17 years old - 22 514 and 17 248 tenge; respectively, for the working-age population over 18 years old: men - 21 207 tenge, women - 16,827 tenge; for pensioners and older people - 16 709 tenge.
