Masimov met Georgian PM

"We confirm our interest in continuation of investing in the Georgian economy and opportunity of export of the Kazakh cargo through the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia," the Kazakh PM said.

Astana. December 7. Kazakhstan Today - Prime minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov met Georgian PM Nikoloz Gilauri today in Astana, Kazakhstan Today reports.

The prospects of Kazakh-Georgian relations in the sphere of trade and economic cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

"We confirm our interest in continuation of investing in the Georgian economy and opportunity of export of the Kazakh cargo through the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia," the Kazakh PM said.

He also outlined that bilateral political relations are at very high level and the Kazakhstani companies are large investors in the Georgian economy in many sectors.

"I think this visit will be an additional opportunity for strengthening cooperation between our countries," Massimov resumed.
