Monetary weight increased by 8.3 %

Monetary weight in Kazakhstan has increased by 8.3 % in the first half of 2009 and, as of July, 1st, 2009, has amounted to 6 786 278 million KZT. Monthly growth has been 3 %, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Almaty. July 21. Kazakhstan Today - Monetary weight in Kazakhstan has increased by 8.3 % in the first half of 2009 and, as of July, 1st, 2009, has amounted to 6 786 278 million KZT. Monthly growth has been 3 %, the agency reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The monetary base (reserve money) during the similar period has increased by 53 % and has totaled 2 333 767 million KZT. Cash, besides of the cash of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, has amounted to 933 014 million KZT, 1 400 753 million KZT. The monetary base in the first half of 2009 has increased by 27.3 % and, as of June, has decreased by 5.1 % and has totaled 1 899 960 million KZT.

Cash in circulation (CinC) for the first half of the year has decreased by 4.6 % and, as of July, 1st, has totaled 818 735 million KZT. CinC 1 - from the beginning of the year has increased by 25.5 % up to 2 444 213 million KZT and CinC 2 has increased by 2.5 % up to 4 736 890 million KZT.
