TengizChevrOil to double transportation of Kazakhstan oil in June

Kazakhstan-American joint venture TengizCevrOil will transport from Turkish port Ceyhan 1.2 million barrels of Kazakhstan oil from the deposit Tengiz in June, 2009 as compared to 600 thousand barrels in May, the agency reports citing news agency Trend Capital.

Almaty. June 12. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan-American joint venture TengizCevrOil will transport from Turkish port Ceyhan 1.2 million barrels of Kazakhstan oil from the deposit Tengiz in June, 2009 as compared to 600 thousand barrels in May, the agency reports citing news agency Trend Capital.

According to the schedule, two consignments of Tengiz oil will be shipped from Ceyhan in June, first - will be shipped on June 2-4 and the second - on June 21-23.

American ChevronTexaco began transportation of Tengiz oil through the pipeline Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan (BTC) in 2008. According to the agreement, oil from Kazakhstan will be transported through the BTC pipeline and the railway to the Georgian ports Kulevi and Batumi. ChevronTexaco is the operator of the Kazakhstan Tengiz deposit.
