Astana. September 5. Kazakhstan Today - Turkey is interested in increase in deliveries of natural gas from the Central Asian region. The chairman of energy working group TUSIAD (Turkey), Ahmet Kemal Dorduncu, stated during III Eurasian Energy Forum KazEnergy on Global challenges - energy solutions on Thursday, the agency reports.

"Turkey's demand for natural gas will make in the near future 66 billion cubic meters a year, therefore it is very important for our country to develop routes of deliveries of gas from Central Asia for own needs and for deliveries to the markets of the Western and Central Europe," A. "Kazakhstan has all possibilities to export energy carriers to the market of Turkey, considering that Turkey is the country with rapidly developing economy," he noted.

TUSIAD chairman reminded that now the market of Turkey depends 72 % on import of energy products and energy carriers and by 2020, by the experts' estimations, this parameter will increase up to 85 %. "Therefore, maintenance of safe and reliable deliveries of energy carriers is the actual issue for our country," he emphasized.
