UAE has lifted ban on import of sheep from Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Almaty. April 19. Kazakhstan Today - UAE has lifted ban on import of sheep from Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, has issued a ministerial decree lifting the ban on import of all kinds of living sheep and goats, and their products from Kazakhstan, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The resolution was taken in accordance with reports received from the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) confirming that the Asian country was free of goat pox and other epidemic diseases.

The resolution stipulates that all shipments should subject to veterinary legislations and quarantine and animal welfare law.
