World prices for oil gone down on November 12

The prices for oil at the tenders on Friday, November 12, went down in the background of concerns that the authorities of China due to high inflation may increase interest rates, having slowed down the national economy's growth.

The official cost of the December futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day went down on November 12 from $88.81 to $86.34 per barrel.

The official cost of the December futures contract (settlement) on the American Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day decreased from $87.81 to $84.88 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC Reference Basket on November 11 increased from $85.27 up to $95.81 per barrel.
