World prices for oil went up on September 20

The prices for oil at the tenders on Monday, September 20, went up in the background of growth of stock markets, the positive spirit of investors owing to restoration rates of the world economy, and weakening of the US dollar as compared to the euro.

Almaty. September 21. Kazakhstan Today - The prices for oil at the tenders on Monday, September 20, went up in the background of growth of stock markets, the positive spirit of investors owing to restoration rates of the world economy, and weakening US dollar as compared to euro.

The official cost of the November futures contract (settlement) of North Sea Brent Crude at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) within the last trading day increased from $78.21 up to $79.32 per barrel.

The official cost of the October futures contract (settlement) on Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI) at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) within the last trading day increased from $73.66 up to $74.86 per barrel.

The price of the OPEC oil basket (OPEC Reference Basket) decreased on September 17 from $75.49 to $74.95 per barrel.
