CIS law enforcement bodies to develop strategy on struggle against information technology crimes

The CIS law enforcement agencies need to develop a long-term strategy on organization of struggle against crimes in information technology, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rashid Nurgaliev, stated in Yalta at the meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth states, the agency reports citing Prime-TASS.

Almaty. June 5. Kazakhstan Today - The CIS law enforcement agencies need to develop a long-term strategy on organization of struggle against crimes in information technology, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Rashid Nurgaliev, stated in Yalta at the meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth states, the agency reports citing Prime-TASS.

"We need to develop a long-term strategy on organization of struggle against crimes in information technology, which would include realization of joint investigations of cyber crimes, carrying out of criminalistic examinations, rendering assistance in investigations in real time mode, training of law enforcement officers, exchange of experience, organization of regional courses for development of the coordinated actions for investigation of similar crimes, and creation and use of databases," R. Nurgaliev informed.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is ready to act as the coordinator of this work."
