CSTO state leaders to discuss international security

During the informal summit in Kyrgyzstan, the leaders of the CSTO states will discuss the issues of international security and the work of the organization. Astana. July 27. Kazakhstan Today - During the informal summit in Kyrgyzstan, the leaders of the CSTO states will discuss the issues of international security and the work of the organization. The head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, informed at a weekly briefing in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the agency reports.

I. Omarov reminded, "The informal summit of the leaders of the CSTO member states will take place on July 31- August 2 in Cholpon-Ata." "During the summit, the heads of the states will exchange opinions on the important questions of international security and will discuss some aspects of the work of the organization," the head of the press service informed.

"The summit participants will exchange opinions on global international issues, such as improvement of the system of the European security, the world financial crisis, the measures to overcome the crisis, post-crisis development of Afghanistan, and other questions of modern international relations.

"According to the agenda, the CSTO Secretary General will make a report on approaches and practical measures on formation of the coordinated information policy of the CSTO member states," the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
