Decisions concerning struggle against terrorism to be accepted in Moscow at CSTO session

Important decisions concerning struggle against terrorism and response to emergencies will be accepted in Moscow at the session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at weekly briefing today, the agency reports.

Astana. June 8. Kazakhstan Today - Important decisions concerning struggle against terrorism and emergency response will be accepted in Moscow at the session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at weekly briefing today, the agency reports.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, "the next CSTO session will take place on June, 14th in Moscow. The session participants will discuss the important questions, concerning development of the situation in the zone of CSTO responsibility and further improvement of the legal base of the organization, taking into account the new objectives, first of all, in the sphere of struggle against modern challenges and threats.

"The leaders of the CSTO member states will exchange opinions on the urgent issues of international cooperation and will accept some important decisions to strengthen the potential of the organization in struggle against terrorism, emergency response and coordination of foreign policy of the CSTO member states," the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, following the results of session, the officials will sign some documents.
