Foreign Minister to take part in meeting of Foreign Ministers of OSCE states

Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, will take part in an informal meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE member countries on the island Corfu in Greece. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at today's weekly briefing, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, will take part in an informal meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE member countries on the island Corfu in Greece. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed at today's weekly briefing, the agency reports.

"The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, will take part in an informal meeting of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the OSCE member countries on Corfu island in Greece devoted to discussion of the future of European security on June, 27-28, 2009," Y. Ashikbayev informed.

During the meeting, its participants will give a review of the prospects and assessment of the state of affairs of security in Europe and will discuss possible ways of joining efforts to counteract modern challenges and threats.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed that during the meeting Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan will hold a number of bilateral meetings and multilateral consultations.
