Kazakhstan and Belarus signed Agreement on mutual protection of classified information

The interstate agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Belorussia about mutual protection of classified information was signed on October 30 in Minsk, the agency reports referring to the press service of KNB of Kazakhstan.

Astana. October 31. Kazakhstan Today - The interstate agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Belorussia about mutual protection of classified information was signed on October 30 in Minsk, the agency reports referring to the press service of KNB of Kazakhstan.

According to the press service, the document was signed with the view of further improvement of the system of measures on protection of the state secrets and maintenance of information safety.

According to the press service, the agreement was signed by the Kazakhstan party - chairman of Committee of National Security, General-Lieutenant Amangeldy Shabdarbayev, and Belarus - chairman of Committee of State Security, General-Major Vadim Zaytsev.

The interdepartmental protocol on cooperation within the antiterrorist centers was signed as well.

According to the press service, during the negotiations chairmen of security service of Kazakhstan and Belarus discussed a broad range of questions on counteraction to international terrorism, drug business, transnational criminality and other directions of activity of special services representing mutual interest.
