Kazakhstan interested in strengthening of trade and economic relations with Holland - vice-Speaker of Senate

Kazakhstan is interested in further deepening of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation with Holland. Vice Speaker of the Upper Chamber of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Muhambet Kopeev, said during the meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan, Klaas van der Tempel, on Monday, the agency reports referring to the Senate press service.

Astana. October 7. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan is interested in further deepening of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation with Holland. Vice Speaker of the Upper Chamber of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Muhambet Kopeev, said during the meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Kazakhstan, Klaas van der Tempel, on Monday, the agency reports referring to the Senate press service.

"The Netherlands - one of the important partners of our country in Europe and the world. Kazakhstan is interested in further strengthening of trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural communications between two states. As of today, there are all necessary prerequisites for raising bilateral relationships to a qualitatively new level," the press service informs.

"The Ambassador of the friendly country noted that the Netherlands highly assesses achievements of Kazakhstan in carrying out social and economic and political reforms and consider our country a strategic partner in the Central-Asian region. The parties noted dynamism of development of the Kazakhstan-Netherlands relations including inter-parliamentary communications," the press service of the Upper Chamber informs.

According to the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, investments of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Holland) in 2008 have made $39.171 billion (relative density in total amount of investments - 33 %).
