Kazakhstan Prime Minister discussed questions of Kazakhstan-Turkish relations with chairman of Grand National Assembly of Turkey

Today the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with the chairman of Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Koksal Toptan, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

Astana. October 21. Kazakhstan Today - Today the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with the chairman of Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Koksal Toptan, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, the meeting participants discussed a broad range of questions of dynamically developing Kazakhstan-Turkish relations, widespread cooperation in trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, including the questions of strengthening of inter-parliamentary communications.

Expressing gratitude for the visit, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan noted that "these relations that developed between the governments and parliaments of two countries have given a strong basis for mutual relations of two states."

K.Toptan expressed confidence in their successful development in the view of the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan stated at VIII summit of the leader of Turkic speaking countries on creation of Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States.

"The meeting participants emphasized positive process of relations between the brotherly countries and expressed mutual interest in further cooperation development," the prime minister's press service informed.

The protocol on intention on creation of Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Sttaes was signed following the results of the meeting of vice chairmen of Parliaments of Turkic States taken place on February 21-22 in Antalya. The working group that developed the draft agreement on Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States was created during the negotiations with participation of the delegation of the Parliament of Kazakhstan headed by vice chairman of Senate, Muhambet Kopeev, and Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkish MPs.
