Kazakhstan Prime Minister held meeting with Ambassador of China

Astana. October 24. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held the meeting with the Ambassador of the Chinese National Republic to Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

"During the meeting the parties discussed a broad range of questions of trade and economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and China," the press service informs.

The parties exchanged opinions on prospects of development of partnership in various sectors of economy.

According to the press service, K. Masimov noted positive dynamics of growth of parameters of bilateral cooperation and significant potential for expansion of trade and economic relations.

The Chinese Ambassador confirmed the interest of China in joint realization of large investment projects in Kazakhstan.

Prior to the meeting of prime ministers of the SCO member countries, C. Gopin and K. Masimov discussed the questions connected with preparation and carrying out of the summit and expressed confidence that this event will give a powerful impulse to further development and strengthening of mutual relations.

"In the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized mutual interest of Kazakhstan and China in further expansion and strengthening of fruitful cooperation on the basis of good-neighborhood partnership," the message states.
