Lithuania suggested Kazakhstan developing project Viking

The Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, Abelgazi Kusainov, met the Lithuanian delegation headed by the Minister of Economy of the Lithuanian Republic on September 17, 2009. During the meeting, the Minister of Economy of the Lithuanian Republic suggested developing the project Viking within the international transport corridor ТРАСЕКА, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Today - The Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, Abelgazi Kusainov, met the Lithuanian delegation headed by the Minister of Economy of the Lithuanian Republic on September 17, 2009. During the meeting, the Minister of Economy of the Lithuanian Republic suggested developing the project Viking within the international transport corridor ТРАСЕКА, the agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.

According to Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania, Arunas Staras, the representatives of Association of Logistics of Lithuania have suggested considering the possibility of allocation of the land for creation of the logistical centers in the territory of Kazakhstan and offered Kazakhstan businessmen to take part in creation of intermodal terminals in the territory of Lithuania.

In the end of the meeting, the head of the Lithuanian delegation reminded that the Eurasian Forum of Transport Development will take place in October of 2009 in Vilnius with participation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan.
