Nazarbayev, Putin supported development of mutual relations

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at the meeting in Beijing supported development of bilateral trade and economic relations, the agency reports referring to ITAR-TASS news agency.

Almaty. August 8. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin, at the meeting in Beijing supported development of bilateral trade and economic relations, the agency reports referring to ITAR-TASS news agency.

"We have laid the foundation for our relations and I am glad that we have been able to keep continuity of our policy," N. Nazarbayev said, having noted, that he would like to continue the practice of high level meetings with V. Putin in his new post.

According to V. Putin, last year commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation made $16.5 billion and this year growth has already made almost 30 %. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation emphasized that he is pleased that development of the states' relations has continued.
